European Commission ready to launch proposal for ESC

Günter Verheugen, Vice President of the European Commission for Enterprise & Industry, mentioned in his speech at the CLEPA technology day in Brussels 27 June 2007 that the Commission will come forward with proposals to introduce Electronic Stability Control into all new vehicles.

The ChooseESC campaign participated with a stand at this event and the ChooseESC mascot used the opportunity to get pictures taken with both Commissioner Günter Verheugen and Viviane Commissioner Reding.
